Jean-Jacques Millant (1928–1998), son of Roger Millant, trained and worked in the joint Millant brothers' Paris workshop under both his father and his uncle Max until 1950. He was first cousin to Max's own son, Bernard Millant, who went on to become one of the most respected French bow experts of his generation.
