Roger Millant
(b. 1901)
Roger Millant was the brother of Max Millant. He was a grandson and pupil of S. A. Deroux. He also trained with L. Mougenot, Jacquet, and Gand in Mirecourt, as well as with Harry Dykes in London. He established himself in Paris with his brother Max in 1923. His work featured classical Italian models, finely finished and with a rich clear red-orange varnish.
