Joseph Dominique Lété

Joseph Dominique Lété was born in Mirecourt in 1804 and apprenticed there before moving to Paris to work for Charles François Gand. He opened his own shop in Nantes around 1827 but gave up violin making in favor of pianos in 1846. J.B. Vuillaume is known to have worked for him from 1821 to 1827.
