American bow maker, studied at the Violin Making School of America in Salt Lake City, before working with Frank Passa in San Francisco from 1978-1979. Is now established independently in Washington State. Winner of three gold medals from the Violin Society of America competition and has been a judge in four subsequent VSA competitions. Was awarded the Grand Prix for a violin bow in the 2011 Etienne Vatelot City of Paris Competition. Co-founder of the Oberlin Bow Workshop in 1996.
