Antonio Carlo Monzino trained at Markneukirchen, Germany, and later in Mirecourt, France. From 1929, he taught in Italy with the help of employees from the company, A. Sironi, A. Perego, P. Parravicini, and L. Galimberti. He imported Sartory bows in collaboration with his uncle C. Garlandini, who became part of the business in 1926, leading to the name `Monzino e Garlandini'.
