Johann Gottfried Liebich
(1752 – 1824)
Johann Gottfried Liebich was a pupil of Sebastian Rauch in Wroclaw. He established himself independently there in 1789 and also made harps. His models were derived from Stradivari and Amati. He used fine materials and workmanship, with varnishes ranging from golden-brown to orange-red.
