Andreas Ferdinand Mayr

Andreas Ferdinand Mayr served as a luthier to the Archbishop's court. He created Stainer models that featured high arches and a scroll that was quite oval-shaped. The workmanship was fairly neat, and the soundholes were widely spaced and upright. He made Mozart's first violin.
