Paolo Leonori

Paolo Leonori was a cellist and luthier. He was credited with 40 violins, nine violas, eight cellos, three viols, and various other instruments. His personal model featured a good golden-brown varnish. A quartet was exhibited at Cremona in 1949. He received awards at Cremona in 1949, 1967, 1969, and 1971, as well as in Florence in 1951 and 1957, Rome in 1954 and 1956, Liege in 1957 and 1963, Ascoli Piceno in 1959, and Pegli in 1971.
