Christian Friedrich Wilhelm Knopf was a bow maker active in Dresden, known for his fine craftsmanship. He was the youngest son of Christian Wilhelm senior and trained his nephews, Johann Wilhelm and Carl Heinrich. Knopf's influence extended beyond his own work, as many pupils and followers created pieces in his style. He also worked in Markneukirchen before establishing himself in Dresden.
