According to Grillet, a pupil of Dominique Peccatte, although Millant sees no working connection. On military service 1848-1862 and stationed at Rennes, where he may have encountered Bonnel. Established in Paris from 1862, at 37 rue de Clignancourt, the home of Peccatte's widow. Lenoble thereafter served as master to Charles Peccatte.
