Son of Georges (I). Moved to London in 1851 as assistant to Charles Maucotel. Established own shop in London in 1858. Best known for his fine Guarneri copies. His work won various awards, including medals at the Paris Exhibition of 1878 and a gold medal at the Inventions Exhibition in London in 1885. His clients included Joachim, ...Read More Piatti, Vieuxtemps and Wieniawski.
