Georg Winterling
Violin maker

Georg Winterling worked in Frankfurt, Dresden, and Vienna as a pupil of B. Klier. He was employed by Pfab in Hamburg and was awarded a diploma in 1889. From 1890, he established himself independently in Hamburg. He retired in 1920, leaving the business to his assistants Anton Schreiber and Anton Lugert. His professional work was of good quality.
