Arnold Voigt

Arnold Voigt was a violin and bow maker, a pupil of H. T. Heberlein Jr. and Schüneman. He relocated to London in 1885 before establishing his own shop in Gartenstrasse, Markneukirchen, where he worked independently from 1890 to 1927. Voigt was a prolific maker of classical Cremonese models and utilized his own oil and spirit varnishes of golden-yellow color. His bows were branded: A. V.
