Gustave Villaume

Gustave Villaume studied under Mougenot and Jacquet Gand in Mirecourt. He worked for Caressa and Français in Paris, as well as Jacquot in Nancy. He received first prizes in Mirecourt in 1911, 1912, and 1913. His instruments followed the Guarneri model and featured fine oil varnish in suitable shades.
