William John Huggler
Violin maker
(1917 – 2006)
William John Huggler established his work in 1959 and was advised by Simone Sacconi. He created six violins and 14 violas based on Stradivari and Guarneri models, using his own orange-brown oil varnish. In 1976, he received prizes at the Violin Society of America competition. His instruments were branded internally.
