Ferruccio Varagnolo
Violin maker
(1880 – 1916)
Ferruccio Varagnolo was a pupil of L. Bisiach in Milan. He later worked in Paris. His work on classical models was rather inconsistent. He used fine materials and dark red varnish. The high arch featured deep edge channelling. The scroll was not concentric. However, Vannes considered him 'un veritable artiste'. He died in an asylum.
