Joseph Hill II

(1745 – 1793)

Joseph Hill was the eldest son and successor of Joseph Hill (I). He took over the Haymarket shop in 1780, which was destroyed by fire in 1789. As a result, he worked for John Betts around 1790-1791, before managing to establish a new business at Lock's Fields, Newington. His work remained comparatively rare.
