Raffaele Vaccari

Raffaele Vaccari was a pupil of C. G. Sgarabotto and an assistant to A. Simonazzi. He established himself independently in Lentigione, near Parma, starting in 1926. In 1949, he received a diploma and medal at Cremona. His work included fine craftsmanship on all classical Cremonese models as well as a personal pattern. He utilized both oil and spirit varnishes with orange or red colorations. Vaccari completed approximately 60 violins and 10 violas.
