Carl Wilhelm Glaesel
(1770 – 1855)
Carl Wilhelm Glaesel was admitted to the Markneukirchen guild in 1792. He was said to have worked for Thir in Vienna and was also active in Berlin. His work featured fine craftsmanship and a choice of materials, exhibiting a typical Tyrolean style with medium height Stainer type arching, although the varnish was rather ordinary brown.
