Max Schuster worked for H. Gütter in Breslau, C. Niedt in Würzburg, T. Kurt in Berlin, and E. Gaertner in Stuttgart, having been a pupil of A. Voigt. He established himself independently in Markneukirchen in 1915. His work was fine professional craftsmanship based on classical models.
