(1845 – 1894)

An Italian noble, Fredi was a musician and an enthusiastic amateur violin maker active c. 1879–94. Born in Todi, Perugia, he moved to Rome in 1878. He produced good quality instruments on a personal model. Taught his son, the better-known Rodolfo Fredi.
