Enrico Politi was the son, pupil, and assistant of Eugenio Politi in Rome. After his father's death in 1909, he worked with his brother Fernando before relocating to Turin. A prolific maker, he completed over 400 violins, 30 violas, and 40 cellos, utilizing a personal model based on classical proportions and featuring a transparent orange-red varnish. He also served as a juror at several international meetings and competitions. His instruments are labeled: 'Enrico Politi / fece / Roma - anno 19__'.
