Frans Waldemar Dahlén
(b. 1871)
Frans Waldemar Dahlén was active as an amateur from 1884 and turned professional around 1890. He established himself in Göteborg in 1920. His instruments featured Stradivari and Guarneri models, utilizing orange-red and red-brown oil varnish. Some were close copies of individual Stradivari instruments. He received a gold medal at the Stockholm Exhibition in 1925.
