Julian H. Clark
Violin maker
(b. 1897)
Julian H. Clark retired from the car industry and established a violin shop in Seattle from 1962 to 1983. He worked on Stradivari and Guarneri del Gesù 'Cannone' violin models and used commercial varnish. Approximately 130 violins and three violas were completed. Many imported instruments were also finished with the help of David Saunders and sold under the name 'Julio Divoni. ' A manuscript label was used.
