Violin maker
(1908 – 1981)
Natale Novelli was the nephew and student of Giuseppe Pedrazzini, for whom he worked in Milan. His style recalls his uncle's work, but is less accurate and somewhat ordinary in comparison, and his best instruments date from his time in Pedrazzini's shop. After Pedrazzini's death in 1957 Novelli inherited his materials but mostly turned to repair work, and his later instruments are of lesser quality.
