Fred Nebel

Fred Nebel was the son and pupil of Andrew Nebel and also studied with his uncle Martin, as well as in Mittenwald, Germany. He worked in Mittenwald for Johann Bader and collaborated with Michael Dötsch and Theodor Schrage in Berlin. He later returned to the USA and established himself in Brooklyn, New York. His work included reproductions of classical Italian instruments and personal models, utilizing both spirit and oil varnish.
