François Xavier Bazin
Bow maker
(1824 – 1865)
One of the earliest Bazin bow makers. His father worked with Francois Didelot, a luthier and furniture maker, and the family had connections with Barthelemy Simon. It is possible that he served his apprenticeship with Dominique Peccatte, but there is no evidence to support this. He had six children, including Charles Nicolas II, who worked with and succeeded him.
