August Hermann Braun
(1869 – 1939)
August Hermann Braun was a pupil of K. H. Kessler until 1882. He joined the firm of Karl Gottlieb Schuster in 1896 and established himself in the Klingenthalerstrasse in 1921, where he served as chief workman. He produced good quality copies of Tyrolean models that featured rather crudely-coloured spirit varnish. He was also a maker of plucked instruments.
