Charles Bovis
(b. 1909)
Charles Bovis was the son of Francois Bovis, who passed away when Charles was five years old. His apprenticeship took place in Mirecourt at the shop of Rene Jacquemin. He later worked for Caressa in Paris before returning to Nice to manage the family business. He produced fine work on classical models but was primarily engaged in repair and restoration tasks.
