Lloyd Liu was a bow maker and jeweller in New York. He established a bow making factory in Old Bennington, Vermont. In 1975, he moved to Arlington, Vermont, where he produced 30 bows per week in various grades. The shop closed in 1977, and he retired from bow-making in 1980 following an accident. He then moved to Hong Kong.
