Girolamo Benozzati



(1860 – 1945)

Girolamo Benozzati trained as a carpenter. He later became a pupil of Eugenio Degani in Venice. He established himself in Rome, where he worked on classical models in the highly finished style of Degani. He won the first prize at the S. Cecelia Competition in Rome in 1919.
