Guido Leoni

Violin maker
(1902 – 1978)

Guido Leoni trained as a cabinet maker in San Benedetto from 1927 and became active as a violin maker there in 1961. He was credited with 70 violins, 15 violas, and 2 cellos. His work featured decent craftsmanship with golden-orange or light brown varnish. A viola from his collection is housed at the Museum of Art in Ascoli Piceno.
