Otto Julius Bausch

Otto Julius Bausch was the brother of Ludwig Bausch jr. and a pupil of his father, Ludwig Christian Bausch. He also completed an apprenticeship with Vauchel in Offenbach. In 1871, he succeeded to the business in Leipzig and was later succeeded by A. Paulus. He produced fine bows and somewhat undistinguished violins featuring red-orange varnish.
