François Barzoni made trade instruments at Château-Thierry, France exclusively for Beare & Son of London from 1880 to 1920. They were very well-crafted Stradivari and Guarneri models, utilizing good materials, though the varnish was hard and ranged in color from golden-yellow to red-brown. They were branded: 'FB'. Bows were branded: BARZONI.
