Enzo Lassi

(1907 – 1965)
Enzo Lassi was the son and pupil of Francesco Lassi. He also studied briefly with Gaetano Pollastri. His models were derived from Stradivari and Guarneri and featured dark orange-red varnish. Some violins were crafted from wood salvaged from the wartime bombing of the Masini theatre in Faenza.
