Marc André Joseph Laberte was the son of Pierre Alexis and served as the Director of Laberte-Humbert Frères, which merged with Fournier Magnié in 1920. He inherited the family firm and employed hundreds of makers, producing a wide range of instruments and bows from student to soloist level.
