Jacob O. Lundh
Violin maker
(1865 – 1951)
Jacob O. Lundh emigrated to the USA in 1882. He settled in Aberdeen, South Dakota, before relocating to Minneapolis in 1910. He worked for Blakkestad Music Co. from 1912 to 1920. In 1927, he established Lundh & Rowe. His personal model featured some double-purfled designs and used hard oil and spirit varnish, with a color range from yellow to red. Over 400 instruments were completed.
