Oskar Richard Gütter apprenticed to A. Zeitler and worked for Heckel in Dresden, Gärtner in Stuttgart, R. Nürnberger, and R. Penzel. He established himself independently in Markneukirchen. His work included good craftsmanship on both Italian and Tyrolean models.
