François Vial

François Vial was a pupil of T. Hüfner. He established himself professionally in Monaco in 1902. In 1910, he received a gold medal in Brussels for a quartet. His work featured a Stradivari-derived model and demonstrated good workmanship. It was signed internally: 'Fait par François Vial / Luthier a Monaco / année 19.. F. Vial'.
