Wolfgang Türcke-Bebie

(1888 – 1958)
Wolfgang Türcke-Bebie trained as an Architect and was a pupil of G. Fiorini in Munich. He subsequently established himself in Salenstein, Mannebach, Switzerland in 1914 and in Schaan, Lichtenstein in 1947. He produced 100 violins, violas, and cellos, generally based on Guarneri models. His workmanship was accurate, and he used red-brown varnish.
