Alois Maximilian Palfner


Violin maker

Alois Maximilian Palfner was a violin and bow maker. He was a pupil of H. Voigt in Vienna and later worked for F. Giittler. In 1907, he returned to Graz and established himself on Zinzendorfgasse. He used the Stradivari model and produced fine work with good varnish and materials. His bows were also of good quality.
