Petter Hellstedt

Petter Hellstedt was likely a pupil of Olof Arling and succeeded to his business. The earliest label was dated 1736. He was licensed as a violin maker in 1742 and was assisted by his son Petter Alexander starting in 1760. His widow continued the shop for several years.
