Secondo Bianchini

Violin maker

Secondo Bianchini studied at the Cremona International Violin Making School in 1943. He worked briefly with A. Fontanini in Salò. In 1951, he returned to Castlevetro. Up to that year, he produced 60 violins, violas, and cellos. His work demonstrated great competence on a Guarneri-derived model. The manuscript label read: Bianchini Secondo / fecit Cremona, 1948.
