Eugenio Politi was a pupil of E. Ceruti. He later established himself in Rome and became an important and influential maker, assisted by his sons Enrico and Fernando. His work was strongly influenced by Ceruti and featured fine workmanship and materials, along with a clear orange-red varnish.
