Charles Edward Herbrig
(c. 1884 – 1959)
A German-born maker whose father made organs and violins. Started violin making in 1908. Moved to the USA and established a shop in St. Paul in 1922. His last instrument is dated 1956. Made about 75 instruments but also several bows, which are stamped 'CHAS. E. HERBRIG.'
