David Earl
(c. 1952 – c. 1982)
David Earl was one of the last bow makers employed by the firm of W.E. Hill & Sons, where he apprenticed under Brian Alvey. Earl left the firm in 1978 to work independently, but tragically committed suicide in 1982. His Hill bows are marked with the number 18.
