Giuseppe Scialé recorded in 1842 at 91 Via del Corso as a maker of violins, guitars, wind instruments, and harps. The only authenticated works that exist are guitars, although Henley cited copies of violins by Gaetano Guadagnini. His fine work featured greenish-yellow varnish, but it was not presently verified. He made items in Roma in the year 1832.
