Pierre Saint Paul


Violin maker
(1714 – 1749)

Pierre Saint Paul worked in the rue de la Comedie Francaise until 1741. He later operated in the rue Saint Andre des Arts at the sign 'A la lyre d'Apollon'. He produced small model violins with pale yellow varnish of poor quality. Viols and cellos were also recorded. The Musical Instruments Museum in Brussels has a pardessus de viole labelled:.
