René Quenoil

René Quenoil was the son and pupil of Victor Quenoil. He also studied under A. Dieudonné in Mirecourt. Later, he was employed by M. Vatelot and E. Français. He established himself independently on boulevard de Clichy. In 1976, he took over the business of J. Fritsch at 39 Rue de Liège. His personal model showcased fine craftsmanship. He received diplomas at The Hague in 1949 for violin and cello, and he was awarded medals at Poznan in 1957 and Paris in 1965. In 1982, he was made a Chevalier de l'Ordre des Arts et des Lettres.
