Edmond Saunier worked for D. F. Lambert in Nancy. He was active in Bordeaux from 1754 to 1765. He established himself in Paris around 1766 at 270 rue Saint-Martin, moved to rue Tiquetonne in 1770, and then to rue des Prouvaires in 1773.
